The sequel to “Last Airbender”: “Legend of Korra”

Don’t let the anime visuals and panned live-action remake fool you: “Avatar: The Last Airbender” is great TV. It rivals “Lord of the rings” in epic-ness and easily trumps it in character development. Now there is news about a sequel mini-series called “The Last Airbender: Legend of Korra”.
Quoting from a Spinoff Online post:
Premiering in November, the 12-episode miniseries set some 70 years after the defeat of the Fire Lord, and follows the adventures of Aang’s successor — “a passionate, rebellious and fearless teenaged girl from the Southern Water Tribe named Korra.” The new series follows Korra as she’s taught airbending by Ang and Katara’s son Tenzin in Republic City, a sprawling, crime-plagued metropolis threatened by a growing anti-bender revolution.
I wish it was longer! It’ll certainly be nice to see Aang again.
